Fundraising Update
Hi friends and family! I have some exciting news to share! As of now, I am fully funded for my first year at CORM!! Praise the Lord! I am blown away by the generosity of my friends and family, and God’s faithfulness throughout this process. Fundraising has always been my least favorite part of my trips so my parents reminded me a few months ago to just watch what God does. I am so grateful for that reminder because now I get to remember this season not by the amount of stress over wondering if I will be funded, but by the overflowing blessings and goodness. My parents pushed me to trust God’s plan and by practicing open-handed trust, I saw God’s power even when I was hesitant. Hopefully this will continue to remind me to trust first.
My departure date is officially set to July 6! That means I am just over 2 months away from departure! Crazy! There are many things on my to-do list that need to be completed before then such as gathering documents for my non-citizen ID card, permit, etc. I am praying for provision and grace over the completion of these tasks. Through the work that has to get done, I am trying to remain focused on being present in each moment here. So many things are changing in my life including graduating from college (!!!) and saying goodbye to a lot of college friends. The anticipation of change has always brought me a lot of anxiety. My goal is to take these next 2 months day by day so that each moment can be savored. So many beautiful things are approaching too like graduation, my roommate’s wedding, Connor and Kelsey’s wedding, my sister’s family moving closer to my parents, etc. Blessings all around! So ready to celebrate all the goodness of this life.
Thank you all for your support!!
